Digital tourism: websites, SEO and business content

Published: Updated: By

A tourism business needs a digital presence that helps travellers understand its offer and take the next step. My approach, supported by my completed E-Tourism master's degree at UMA, starts with those practical needs.

A website that answers questions

Each service should explain its audience, inclusions, organisation and how to enquire about availability. Clear information reduces uncertainty and gives enquiries more context.

SEO and content in each language

English, Spanish and Turkish versions need their own copy, descriptive titles and links to the corresponding translation. Google recommends separate URLs for language versions and hreflang annotations to connect them.

Project priorities

  1. Review services, audiences and business objectives.
  2. Organise pages around real traveller questions.
  3. Address links, mobile performance and contact information.
  4. Measure enquiries and review which information supports contact.

Technology is useful when it addresses an identified need. For an agency or operator, a clear website that is straightforward to maintain provides a foundation before more complex tools are added.

Let's shape your journey or digital project

Share your destination, dates and group size, or your tourism business goals. We can then define the next steps.
